In 2013, CSH Los Angeles launched Community Advocates Project to help tenants of supportive housing develop their personal narratives and prepare to speak publicly on issues faced by people affected by chronic homelessness. Survivors’ Truths helped CSH plan the curriculum, provided supervision to volunteer coaches, and facilitated a portion of the group workshop each month.
Survivors’ Truths has provided training to staff of Foodbank of Santa Barbara County and presented at their annual Summit of people and organizations working on hunger in the area.
